Athens Academy's Summer Program has a great variety of fun activities open to ALL students in the community! From traditional camps and sports camps to programs focused on technology and education, there's something for everyone ages 5-18.

For the 2024 summer season, Athens Christian School is offering 15 camp options that include a large variety of activities for all interest levels such as agricultural science, sports, and fine arts for all ages. In addition, a day camp is offered for ages 3-11. 

Camp Kelley turns 88 this summer! Brought to you by the Athens YMCA, Camp Kelley offers a fun, encouraging, and high energy environment for children ages 5-13. Make new friends, get messy, and (everyone’s favorite) SWIM!

Best Level Basketball
Basketball training that focuses on individual improvement designed for grades1st through 8th. Each camp focuses on fundamental skill  development  through skill work, competitions and games.


'Brella Studio
Making a mess is a necessary part of learning, but cleaning up those messes at home can be stressful. That's why our art studio in East Athens is designed to be a safe place for that #BeautifulMess to happen, so parents can devote more time to the heroic act of raising your family.


Canopy Studio
Canopy Studio is a non-profit community arts center dedicated to enriching the culture of our community and the lives of individuals through aerial  dance, movement education, and performance arts.


Camp Hooray at esp
For the 2024 season, Extra Special People Inc. (esp) is offering 8 weeks of camps designed for children and young adults with disabilities that include both general day camps at the Watkinsville location, and overnight camps in partnership with Camp Twin Lakes. No age limits!


Legacy Oaks Farm
Join in the fun at Horse Summer Camp! Campers, ages 5 to 11, ride everyday, learn horsemanship skills in the saddle and on the ground, enjoy arts and crafts, and make lasting memories! Each day we enjoy themed riding, including paint your pony and ride bareback, trail riding, games, and obstacles.


Merit Music Academy
Merit Music Academy is a private lessons music school in Athens, GA. This summer, we are offering small-group Summer Intensives in a variety of subjects such as Ukulele, Theory, A Cappella, Songwriting, and Puppetry for ages 6 to 12.
Oconee Music
Fun and engaging music lessons and camps that help kids develop self-confidence and discipline that they can apply to other areas in their life.

State Botanical Garden of Georgia at The University of Georgia
This year, The State Botanical Garden of Georgia at UGA will host educational programming offering six different week-long summer camps for ages 5-10. Each week focuses on a different outdoor theme to inspire fun and to connect with nature.

The Studio Athens
At The Studio Athens, we love the arts. Spend your Summer dancing, singing, acting, and creating at with us. Campers will explore music, movement, and art that will foster creative expression and imaginative play!

The Torrance Center for Creativity at UGA
Creative Explorers Camp is a summer day camp series hosted by The Torrance Center for Creativity @ UGA designed to engage and enhance the imaginative capacities of rising 3rd-5th graders! Each week offers fun and immersive experiences on unique, creative topics such as art, music, performance, nature, and more!



Wild Earth Camp
The mission of Wild Earth Camp is to connect children (ages 4 to 13) to the natural environment while they learn and have fun. We do this through exploration, sit spot, storytelling, play and teaching earth skills like building structures, tracking wildlife, crafting, and studying birds, plants and animals on the land.
