There is nothing I love more than Summer Art Camp at Spark and we are offering 11 weeks of Art Camp for the 2024 season! Each day will be a day of art joy, filled with projects to explore different media and create with imagination and variety - painting, jewelry making, clay, arts & crafts, lots of fun and lots to do!

We offer parents the ability to register for camp by individual day, or by the week to help with those crazy summer schedules! We also have both early drop-off and extended pick-up options.
Learn more below.

CAMP DETAILS

Camp hours are from 9:30am - 3:30pm with the option to choose an early drop off (8:30am) or extended day pick up (3:30pm - 5:30pm). Please see individual listings to book these extra hours.

Our camps are designed for ages 6 and up; however if your child is younger, we can approve a younger child if we communicate before camp (I can be reached at annpeden@gmail.com).
Spark is located above our retail gift store and the entrance is in the back of the shopping center (inbetween Your Pie and A Child’s Closet). There are both stairs and an elevator (between A Child’s Closet and the Nail Salon). Both doors are marked with signs.

All materials, instruction, snacks and drinks are provided. Campers will need to bring a boxed lunch and be sure to wear something they can get paint on. We have art smocks but some projects can get a little messy!

BOOK INDIVIDUAL DAYS (OR WEEKS!)

Needing just a day or two (or three?) of camp for your little one? Book any teacher for any day between May 20 and August 2nd.

CAMP PROGRAMMING BY TEACHER

Taught by Ann Peden
9:30am to 3:30pm
$85.00

May 20, 21, 23, 24, 27
June 5, 10, 11, 19,  24,  25,  27,  28
July 4, 5, 12, 17, 22, 23, 24, 31

Description: Each morning starts with a plan! From painting on wood, to stenciling, melted crayon art, string art, jewelry projects, and polymer clay creations. Each day your child can pick their own large project and complete smaller projects if they finish early. Freedom to make a suncatcher, a keychain, twig fairy house, and much more!
Every afternoon we start a clay ceramics project using a handbuilding technique (similar to rolling out cookies) - to make mugs, plates, wall pockets, wall tiles, votives, big mouthed animals, fairy houses, tumblers... and more! This is the only project that your child can’t take home the same day as the clay has to dry and be fired in our kiln for 1-2 weeks. After camp you will receive a notification that the clay is out of the kiln and in the clay room downstairs in the store.
