For the 2024 summer season, Athens Christian School is offering 15 camp options that include a large variety of activities for all interest levels such as agricultural science, sports, and fine arts for all ages. In addition, a day camp is offered for ages 3-11. Please take a moment and view our list of programming below, in chronological order.

DRAMA CAMP
May 27 - June 7, 8am to 5pm

Description: In this two week intense program, students will explore the following aspects of theatre: motivation, objective, focus, stage voice,  relaxation, observation, memorization, and problem solving with the use  of drama games and exercises.  Students will also gain experience in  improvisation and will perform a full fledged musical at the end of the  second week.

FOOTBALL CAMP

Description: This three day football camp provides young players the opportunity to learn and improve fundamental skills for the sport. Campers will learning basic football skills which include, tackling, blocking, quarterback skills, kicking, and ball handling. Also this camp will help prepare the players for the upcoming football season. Campers will receive a camp shirt. Sign ups for the 2024 football season will be available on the last day of camp.

Description: Camp Eagle will be running the four full weeks of June this summer! Care is provided for children aged 3 years (potty-trained) to students that have completed 5th grade. Students will enjoy games, sports, crafts, and fun activities.
Note: Lunch is not provided but an afternoon snack is given.

SOFTBALL CAMP
June 10 - June 13, 9am to 12pm

Description: At this four day summer camp, campers will learn and enhance the fundamentals of fielding, hitting and base running from Athens Christian softball coaches Campers will need a softball glove and bat. Cleats are recommended but not required.

AGGIE CAMP (FFA)

Description: Do your kids like to play outside? Do they like to have fun with their friends and learn about plants and animals? Do they love games and always seem to get bored during school breaks? If so, this is the DAY CAMP for them! This week-long day camp focuses on keeping students busy with hands-on activities, guest speakers, games, crafts and more! All activities connect to agriculture and our community!
Note: Each camper will receive a shirt and snacks will be provided each day. Registrations after noon on Friday, May 10 may not receive a t-shirt.

YOUTH CHEER CAMP
June 17, 9am to 2:30pm

Description: Campers will learn fundamental cheerleading skills such as motions, jumps, stunts, and crowd-leading; and will showcase chants, cheers, and routines for parents on the final day of camp. Girls will have the opportunity to learn more about God and how He is the one who fills us with CHEER and love.
Note: Come ready to cheer with athletic attire (t-shirt, shorts, & tennis shoes), sack lunch, and a water bottle.Youth Cheer camp pricing also include a camp t-shirt.

Description: Join us for a fundamental and basics dance workshop of ballet, jazz, and contemporary dance.
Note: Dancers should wear ballet shoes. Jazz shoes are optional for Dancers in Camp II & Workshop classes. Camp shirt s included in registration. Please bring water bottle to class.

BASEBALL CAMP

Description: Players will develop solid fundamentals and learn proper techniques. As baseball is a game of skill, tactics and technique, each day is designed to increase individual skills in an atmosphere that is challenging, competitive, and fun.

Description: Campers will enjoy playing a variety of Orff Percussion Instruments,  hand bells, Boomwhackers, drums and more! Bring instruments from home to  learn more about them during private lesson mini sessions. Musical arts  and crafts, games, and singing will also be enjoyed. Parents are invited to a short ensemble performance on the last day of camp.

SOCCER CAMP
July 29 - August 1, 9am to 12pm

Description: The ACS Soccer camps will focus on individual skill development, team play, and developing a love for the game.
Note: Each participant should provide their own water bottle and #5 soccer ball. Cleats and shin guards are recommended, but optional. Each participant should also have a pair of running shoes in case we need to play indoors due to the weather. Camp shirt included in price. Campers will be separated by age level.
