Treehouse Kid and Craft is a kids shop and creative studio. We put a lot of heart into the planning of each summer camp. We not only think about the “fun factor", we also take all learning opportunities into consideration.
It is our goal to make each camp engaging, nurturing and a valuable experience. As creative educators, we love to incorporate multiple disciplines, sensory experiences, as well as socio-emotional concepts into our curriculum. If we can develop a camp that can (sneakily) incorporate math, problem solving, empathetic leadership, science, history, we will!
While we think making art in general is incredibly important, we believe that encompassing real life experiences that help raise good humans is extra awesome and beneficial to the world. This is something that we value and hope that this is exciting to you and your kiddo(s)!

Description: We are going back to our roots and teaching a camp based on plants! We will make our own cardboard and interactive gardens and taste and make new healthy foods. We will also be using nature to help us create sustainable art and celebrate new growth.

Mini Museum

Description: This camp is a throwback to one we did years ago and was a fav. Students will create aminiature museum diorama that is based on their own ideas. It can be silly or serious, their choice! It’s a fun week filled with learning about their museum topic, measuring, construction, creating, and presenting their ideas for public display! The ideas are endless and what our students come up with always amazes us! We will have a museum opening party on the last day for our friends and family to view and support.

Toy Shop Tinker Camp

Description: Kids are natural tinkerers and inspire us with their uninhibited imaginations. We are going to nurture this and have tinker tables to allow our imaginations to design fun and inspired toy designs and work as a team to build a toy shop! Each student will get a tiny mouse with camp registration and we will spend each day designing and building different parts of our mouse mansion. Digital Art Illustrator and Animation

Description: We will learn the basics of digital drawing and learn the capabilities of the program Procreate. Throughout the week we will learn about different ways to draw, design, and ways to enhance our artwork, digitally. Description: While paper is something that we may take for granted, there are many art forms that use paper in inspiring ways. We are going to create books of our own and demonstrate ways to use paper and new techniques to visually journal and document their lives. We will collaborate with classmates and learn lettering techniques, use a variety of special inks, pens, and brushes to create our own works of art. We may even make personal pan pizzas at the end of camp (that’s a joke for the parents of the 80’s)
